Job ID: 136709 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time For our APAC Onshore segment in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a dynamic and proactive Project Manager who will ensure the success of turbine projects in accordance with (i) the applicable PM (at) Siemens methodology, (ii) the New Collaboration Model (NCM), and (iii) the Project Specific Target Agreement (PMA). The project team is responsible for executing projects from the signing of sales contracts to the operation of the wind turbines and final hand-over to the customer (externally) and to our Service colleagues (internally). In this position you will be driving the process and proactively seek answers to our business challenges while at the same time meet tight deadlines for deliverables. You will report to Head of APAC Onshore Project Management located in Brande. What are my responsibilities? • Assume responsibility for Project Management of designated projects as per PM (at) Siemens methodology, NCM and PMA • Start, follow up, closely monitor projects and report the project status to management • Handle change order-, variation order-, and other project related complex negotiations in connection with the designated projects • Profit and loss responsibility for the designated projects • Lead your project team(s) by example and professionalism • Work efficiently in a matrix structure and in multiple cross-business, cross-continent departments/units • Evaluate your projects in order to share lessons learned with the rest of APAC Onshore segment • Coach and train junior colleagues in order to share and consolidate knowledge • Develop and steadily update project schedules in Primavera • Comprehensively compile project results and efficiently present them to the top management • Identify and consistently follow the root cause of the situations triggering non-conformance costs • Support the evaluation and review of customer contracts in the sales phase • Support sales colleagues in tender/offer preparations with relevant hands-on project management knowledge What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a degree in Engineering and/or an MBA combined with 5+ years of professional work and project management experience, preferably within the wind industry • You are an open-minded, solution-oriented and proactive person • You deliver on time • You are able to manage more than one project at a time without losing focus on the main deliverables and vital milestones on the individual projects you manage • You are a good team player, able to inspire and motivate your team • You possess excellent communication skills, able to adapt your communication to various management and peer levels you are requested to interact with • You possess strong organizational, analytical and decision making skills • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must • You have worked in a multi-cultural environment preferably for more than 3 years • You are able to empathize with people from all walks of life • You possess excellent MS Office user skills In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
