About the department Insulin Marketing Project Office is a department within Marketing, Medical Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement (MMASE) organisation. The team is part of the Insulin Marketing CVP area situated in Søborg and consists of 7 people. You will report to the Director of the Insulin Marketing Project Office, and have extensive cross functional interactions with relevant product brand teams as well as multiple stakeholders in HQ and key affiliates. The position As Senior Global Communications Manager for the Degludec portfolio your main responsibility will be to develop and drive the PR plan to secure a steady news flow and maximise share of voice of the product portfolio. In this role your key responsibilities will be: Development and ownership of external communication strategy for the Degludec brands incl. working with PR agencies to deliver results based on the communication strategy for each brand worldwide. Embedding individual brand communications within the larger diabetes portfolio; provide communications expertise to affiliates ensuring successful communication around Degludec brand milestones in their markets. Issues & crisis communication incl. leading the Degludec Issues Working Group; Collaborating with Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, Market Access and other relevant functions to ensure alignment on external communication. Provide internal communication guidance to brand team colleagues as needed, and assume an internal communication advisory role within Global Insulin Marketing. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders in HQ and key affiliates across different functions such as Global brand teams, Corporate Communication, Legal, Medical Affairs and Regulatory. Qualifications You hold a relevant degree in communications/business, public relations, journalism, and/or scientific degree. You have 7+ years working experience within the area of corporate communications, with documented results from a wide range of communication disciplines. You have proven results in managing complex, cross-organizational projects including issues management. Min. 5 years of pharmaceutical product communications and public relations experience is required. Experience in consulting and training of senior management in relation to sensitive communication matters, such as major change processes is considered an advantage. On the personal side, you take initiative and are solution oriented. You are service minded with a strong quality mind-set and a highly structured approach to your work. You enjoy working with a cross-functional group and have strong stakeholder management skills. You are generally an optimistic individual with a high self-drive and energy level.
