As a member of the AI team, you will collaborate with various technical teams in the company to improve our products. We work with problems requiring innovative new solutions, such as object detection, depth estimation, path planning with reinforcement learning, preemptive maintenance and more

We offer an exciting and responsible position with excellent opportunities for you to personally shape the position.

You will be part of a team with eleven other developers who are all working on implementing new features and improving existing features. We endeavour to ensure that our products appear unique and can be utilised in many different contexts, and to make our robots even better.

The work uses Scrum, and of course you will be a part of all the stages, from brainstorming with stakeholders from other departments in the company to the implementation of solutions and subsequent maintenance and correction of errors. You can quickly get to grips with a problem, find and understand relevant technology and use it to develop the best solution for the customer and with long-term maintenance in mind.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Develop innovative core models used for scene understanding that are front and center in the perception pipeline as well as other machine learning models
• Develop production quality code and own your algorithms from design to production.
• Turn algorithm exploration that performs best on rigorous and pragmatic A vs B experiments evaluated extensively on data into models/software running in production
• Work with data collection to select and label relevant data to improve our supervised training
• Be part of a development team, closely exploring and sounding out ideas with other talented developers regarding changes and new features

The successful candidate

Professional competencies

You are a qualified and experienced developer/data scientist with more than 3 years of experience in artificial intelligence-related tasks and projects.

The successful candidate should have

• strong Preference for Computer Vision / Machine Learning academic focus
• familiarity with Tensorflow, Mxnet, caffe or other similar deep net or machine learning packages
• theoretical and applied knowledge of relevant subsets of detection algorithms including Classification, scene understanding, object detection classes of algorithms
• strong mathematical skills
