About the department We are 130 employees in Corporate Procurement and together with the global organisation, we manage the total external spend of DKK 25 billion. We do this by building strategies, managing processes and executing improvement projects to optimise the global spend related to, e.g. R&D activities, marketing services, travel, professional advisory services and technology. To do this we collaborate with senior stakeholders at Senior Vice President level and their teams across the organisation. We work fact-based, are dedicated to collaborative problem solving and take active leadership for the initiatives we are involved in. We invest significant resources in developing our employees through coaching, frequent feedback, formal training and by giving a large responsibility to talented individuals. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO. The position The internship position in Corporate Procurement focuses on management consulting and business development. You will work on identifying business development opportunities within our global spend and improve our processes with high focus on stakeholder management. All tasks will provide experience in project management, quantitative data analytics as well as stakeholder management. You are expected to take responsibility for your projects with strong support and sparring from dedicated project managers and leaders. We are looking to hire 10 new dedicated interns to join our strong and growing team. Internship Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months. Start date: 1 September 2016 Qualifications We only hire the best. You are enrolled in a Master's Degree within a relevant field (e.g. in economics, business administration, engineering, supply chain management, or the like) with a top 20% GPA. You have an international mindset, experience from studying abroad and 1-3 years of relevant work experience and/or participated in extracurricular activities (e.g. case competitions or volunteering) next to your studies. You take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for yourself and your colleagues. You have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and you are comfortable giving presentations. Finally, you work fluently in English.
