Danaher Company Description Description Testing and documentation – Communication skills – Holistic thinking Radiometer Medical is a medical device company, and both usability and UX are important to ensure that our products can be used and will be well perceived by our customers. You will have a central role in Radiometer, but also cooperating with other Danaher MedTech companies around usability. The usability engineering position is a part of a UX (User eXperience) and usability group in Radiometer Medical’s R&D function. You will be a part of a small team of designers and engineers working with UI, ID and UX. The job Usability is a central part when validating new MedTech instruments. Thus to become successful, you must be enthusiastic and feel strongly about participating in and driving usability testing of our products. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: •Participate in planning and driving our usability activities in Radiometer i.e. promote structured testing methods. •Usability and documentation of ongoing and new projects (e.g. product requirements, product risks and patient safety) •Integrate usability to a greater extent in the existing setup for user testing •Plan and carry out usability testing •Analyze findings from user tests and communicate findings to stakeholders and designers •Participating in developing usability processes and documentation •Validate design iterations using structured approach and use of metrics. •Communicate effectively across the organization. We are looking for a person who has the following qualifications: •Engineering degree (bachelor or master) or similar theoretical backgroundGood communication skills – verbally and written •Experience with usability, validation and risks analysis •Knowledge and experience with usability standards and regulations (e.g. IEC 62366, Draft Guidance – Human Factors for Medical Devices) •Knowledge of and experience with qualitative and quantitative methods •Holistically thinking and able to maneuver in a complex system •Fluent English is a must •Experience with user-driven design is a plus but not a requirement Taking responsibility, showing initiative and being committed to your tasks are essential strengths, as well as: •A creative and positive mindset - open to change and taking calculated risks •Self-driven and results-oriented •Detail-oriented, systematic and structured approach to tasks and documentation •Team-player – able to both take the lead and be led •Ability and interest in learning new things So in short – we are seeking a proactive and extrovert person who, without knowing the full picture, reaches out to relevant stakeholders in the organization; ensuring a broad basis for decisions – without losing track of the target.
