Engineer for Planning and Analysis for the Development of Automotive Catalysts and Technology

Would you like to develop catalytic gas cleaning technologies for cars and trucks in a global and expanding environmental company? We offer a challenging position in R&D in our Automotive Department. We are 60 engineers and technicians working on the development and optimization of heterogeneous catalysts and catalytic processes for the cleaning of exhaust gases from power plants, refineries, the chemical industry, and diesel vehicles. In our department we work with product design, process design, production, and sales & marketing of automotive products. Our DeNOx catalyst (SCR) already has a considerable market share for trucks and you will join a project group entrusted with the important task of developing, testing, and validating the next generations of catalysts for exhaust treatment systems required to meet future automotive legislation. As a Plan and Analysis Engineer you will plan and do analysis of test in both long term validation units and in the test laboratory. You will be a part of our test team and work in different product development projects. Your responsibilities - Take part in planning and defining tests in catalyst development projects - Analyze data from reactor tests and communicate the results to development projects - Work closely together with team leaders and development engineers - Take part in modeling projects. You - Like to take initiatives - Are thorough and highly motivated - Possess excellent analytical skills - Enjoy challenges and go for results - Have good communication skills and are able to interact with many different people. Qualifications You are a qualified chemical engineer (MSc or PhD) or equivalent with a strong background in process technology and catalysis. Experience from the automotive industry will be considered an advantage as well as experience in managing a team. Excellent skills in written and spoken English are required.
