Then you might be who we are looking for to join the Transportation team of DMD Assembly and Packaging. About the department You will join a dedicated and highly competent team in Device Manufacturing and Development situated in Hillerød. Our field of responsibility is to develop transport solutions for intermediate- and finished products and qualify equipment for internal- and external transport. The team works closely with R&D projects, all manufacturing units and the Shipping and Supply Chain Planning department. The Job As development engineer in DMD Transportation you will be part of a team developing and documenting the performance of transport solutions for many different types of products, e.g. components, medical devices, API and bulk glass. Some products are shipped in low volumes at –80 °C, others in millions of units per day. You will be the main driver in development of transport solutions for components and intermediate products based upon injection moulded and vacuum formed solutions. You will run projects of your own and support larger R&D projects and manufacturing site requests with analysis, concept development, design, part manufacturing and hands-on test planning/execution/documentation. The position offers you a unique opportunity to take on an independent job covering all aspects of development and manufacturing with a broad interaction with both drug- and device projects and all manufacturing sites in a global pharmaceutical company. Qualifications You have a degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant educational background. You have excellent collaboration skills and minimum 3 years experience in injection moulding design, -manufacturing and verification testing. You are an experience CAD user and have worked with GPS. Your have experience within one or more of the following areas: Risk analysis, design input/URS, GMP, robustness and validation. You have obtained strong results and you are driven by a personal commitment and sense of responsibility. You have a systematic, analytical and thorough approach to your work and you are keen on finding sustainable solutions. You have a sense of initiative and enjoy an independent role among good colleagues. As you will have an international network, fluency in written and spoken English is required.
