About the department In Corporate Finance we are responsible for the finance strategy and for driving corporate processes. Corporate Tax is one of four functional areas within corporate finance, responsible for the global tax process. As head of corporate tax you will have managerial responsibility for 15 employees working with compliance, transfer pricing and indirect taxes, as well as functional leader for approximately 50 global tax professionals. The position As an international company we manage our taxes globally. We need people in our tax organisation who have an international mind-set, are dedicated to invest significant and understanding the business environment in which we operate. As a leader, you are responsible for initiating and supervising worldwide corporate taxes and ensuring that implementation of decisions are within the Novo Nordisk corporate tax strategy under the overall mission to ‘pursue a competitive tax level in a responsible way’. You will be part of a dynamic and highly competent corporate finance management team with unique opportunities for professional and personal development. 25 to 30 days of travelling per year is expected. As head of corporate tax you are responsible for management of global taxation of the company including transfer pricing, compliance and tax accounting. You will act as a motivating and developing people manager for a group of talented and experienced colleagues. Further, you ensure a high performance culture with focus on personal development and proactive talent management. Therefore, you are required to maintain a high degree of personal integrity and independent financial point of view on matters of financial importance to Novo Nordisk. Qualifications You hold a Master's degree e.g. Cand.Merc. Aud or Cand.Merc.Jur. You have 10 plus years of professional experience within the Tax/Finance area, proven strong business results and experience with global businesses and taxation. You are excellent in navigating across boundaries and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders. You have strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to inspire and motivate your team to deliver high quality results.
