Description Software development in .NET/C# – Medical devices – Problem solving We are looking for an ambitious SW Engineer who can solve product defects and is capable of interacting with stakeholders from R&D over Marketing to customers. The position is based in our Copenhagen R&D. You will be part of a team of 10 very skilled engineers developing MS Windows Server products. We work in a virtual team setup with our colleagues in India to develop a world class Point of Care Medical SW product – AQURE -for hospitals around the globe. Your main responsibility is to ensure that product defects are handled according to our processes and with high expectations to the quality. You will be hands-on in defect analysis, debugging and resolution development. Not least, you will provide the needed visibility to the defect status towards Support, Marketing and customers. The job To become successful, you must utilize critical thinking and be driven to achieve results. Your responsibilities and tasks will include: •Overall responsibility for providing overview of software bugs and Bug Metrics to the R&D Manager. •Defect assessment, priority and target setting, together with Support and Marketing. •Driving R&D actions towards handling tracing, debugging and reproduction. •Designing and developing solutions and corrections to the product. •Delivering analysis and overview about bug trends to project milestones. •Participating in improving work practices and processes. Traveling up to 10% of your time per year is to be expected. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success: •A degree in SW Engineering. •3 to 4 years’ experience with sw development in .NET/C#. •Experience with: ?Memory-Dumps and Tracing. ?Performance counters. ?MS Windows Server Frameworks. ?MS SQL. ?TFS or similar in Visual Studio. •Ability to sketch and describe problems and solutions. •Fluent English both oral and written is a requirement.
