You will be part of the team responsible for operational and safety performance management. We Offer You will be working in the Operational Business Intelligence team that reports directly to the COO of Maersk Drilling. The team consists of 6 people including you and we have a small support team in Mumbai. The Operational Business Intelligence team is a newly established team with a lot of exiting tasks ahead of us. You will be part of an international and dynamic workplace where you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience about the performance drivers of Maersk Drilling. Furthermore, this position offers a broad range of cross-departmental collaboration. This position is therefore a unique opportunity to not only understand how Maersk Drilling drives changes through performance indicators but also a way to build a strong network within the Maersk Drilling organization. The main focus for 2016 will be on how we improve data quality even further. You will be part of the journey where we transition from manual to automated processes as well as seek ways to simplify current procedures. As we want you to be able to complete your studies on time, your working hours will be 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to work less during exam periods and more during semester breaks. Key Responsibilities In this Student Assistant role you will: •Assist with performance data retrieval, quality control, and recurring reporting. •Assist other teams within Operations and Commercial with understanding and driving performance data. •Assist with the roll-out of updated reports and reporting structures to the organization. •Carry out various admin tasks. •Conduct ad-hoc projects including but not limited to developing new reports for tracking performance data, assisting with testing of new implementations, and gathering data from multiple sources/programs. Who we are looking for This Student Assistant position is ideal for a student with a keen interest in Performance Management and how to improve data quality. You see data as instrumental driving a high performance organization. We are looking for a person with the following skills and mindset: •High level of energy and can-do attitude. •Very comfortable with structuring and using data to track performance and drive changes. •Able to explain complicated data and performance metrics in a simple manner that is easily and quickly understood by persons outside of the team, both through written and verbal communication as well as presentations. •You work in a structured manner and have high attention to details. ? •Team-oriented. •You have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Pivot tables, Power Pivot, and VBA Macros is preferred. •You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and have an international mind-set.
