Welcome to BEUMER Group
As our new Automation Engineer, you will be part of our Automation Controls team. You will join a team of 25 creative and highly-skilled colleagues, with whom you create the products of tomorrow as well as keeping the product ownership of the existing technologies.
Create the programming of our future products
You will join the team Product and Tools, which are taking care of our product development and maintenance as well as creating the tools necessary to handle major projects efficiently.
The nature of the projects requires us to focus highly on auto-generated code, both due to size and quality.
Your role will be to help ensure that we keep developing this and with the purpose of always being best in class, to ensure that our colleagues handling the costumer projects always have the ideal solution.
Validate your new products
Our product development process follows the recognized V-model: from customer requirements to final validation of our systems around the world. As an Automation Engineer you will have a close co-operation with a lot of different stakeholders in validating your new products on the initial projects in which they are used. This may result in some travel activity depending on the project.
Build your knowledge and take on more responsibility
You will be handed a task and trusted with a deadline. To help you, your colleagues are ready to share their knowledge and discuss the solution. You just need to ask.
As you master the art of driving your own projects, you will get to take on project management of smaller projects and activities within the team, allowing you to build skills in that area.
Skilled and playful Automation Engineer
- You are a skilled PLC programmer with knowledge of Siemens S7 and Siemens TIA - if you know Allen Bradley too, it is an advantage.
- You speak and write English fluently, and if you do not know Danish already, you want to learn.
- You hold some experience in either VBA or C# programming, as both languages are an important part of our tool landscape
You enjoy sharing your knowledge and discussing the best solution with your colleagues, and you actively seek their advice and encourage them to come to you with the best result. Also, you have a playful spirit and enjoy finding solutions to solve complex challenges.
