Project Manager, Sourcing Development & Analytics, Bagsværd
Are you motivated by structuring and executing strategic projects for Sourcing in new and uncertain areas? If yes, then we might have the right position for you, as Novozymes is looking for a Project Manager to our newly established Sourcing Development & Analytics (SD&A) team.

The main purpose of the SD&A team is to provide project management across Sourcing and enable better insights through extended use of data and sourcing analytics. Currently, the team consists of 10 enthusiastic colleagues (seven based in India and three in Denmark). We are a part of Sourcing & Facility Management, organized under Research, Innovation & Supply.

In order to be successful in this position, you need a solid understanding of Sourcing (both Direct and Indirect) and it will clearly be an advantage if you have worked with end-to-end processes in another production company. Moreover, you are a very structured, analytically strong person skilled at managing complex projects, requiring interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal and external. It is important that you are motivated by working independently and dare to question our current ways of working.


Your main responsibilities in this position will be to:

• Independently execute various Sourcing projects, including establish a new and cross-functional Supplier Performance Management platform for Novozymes
• Drive various change management, training and communication efforts – acting proactively towards stakeholders across Novozymes and building solid relations in the organization
• Help shaping the digital journey across Sourcing, making sure that we get the most out of the data and technology already at hand to leverage the possibilities of Sourcing analytics
• Impact the sustainability agenda across Sourcing and engage in relevant network and knowledge building activities
• Support the improvement of sourcing concepts, processes and systems to enable Sourcing to reach the next level
• Drive and coordinate Sourcing’s compliance documentation, internal quality documents and processes and facilitate audits

In this position, you need to have:

• Preferably 5+ years of relevant work experience, including thorough understanding of Sourcing and end-to-end processes. We expect you to hold a Master’s degree within Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain or similar
• A winning and dedicated personality combined with solid business understanding
• A collaborate, curious mindset and a positive “can-do” attitude in a professional setting
• A strong analytical mindset and a structured way of working
• The ability to drive complex projects from planning to execution with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Solid communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
