Are you dedicated to improving and perfecting processes and IT systems? Do you value teamwork and excel at problem-solving? Global Risk Management is looking for a software developer for our newly started software development team. Workplace is flexible either in Middelfart or Aarhus.   

Responsibilities

Together with our newly started development team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an in-house product suite aiming at helping and supporting our colleagues operate in the financial derivatives market.

About the team

We work in a service-oriented landscape, trying to maintain a sane level between service boundaries and size. We do not have a support team, which means that we strive to have efficient release processes and easily accessible metrics for our services. Our primary tool chain consists of the following:

  • C#
  • Web API
  • SQL
  • MSMQ (using rebus servicebus)
  • VSTS/Azure DevOps
  • Prometheus/Grafana
  • ELK
  • Octopus deploy

 The system

The system we are building handles everything from capturing derivative trades to sending invoices and everything in between. It consists of several microservices, each having a different responsibility and view on data. Currently all systems are running on virtual machines (primarily Windows services and webservices). Going forward, we will be looking into opportunities in the cloud.

 About you
