Tresiba® is the latest new-generation basal insulin from Novo Nordisk. The product is a focus-brand in the organisation and has recently been assigned a new strategic direction: to make “Hypoglycaemia (Hypos) Matter". 

Along with the new focus two new disruptive and emotive campaigns have been developed by the Global Brand team and the current focus is on ensuring the best possible roll-out and execution in the 63 markets where Tresiba® is currently launched as well as in upcoming launch markets. In addition to this it is of high priority to drive new initiatives and activities to strengthen our ability to differentiate with ‘Hypos Matter’.

About the department
The Global Tresiba® Brand team is responsible for delivering the annual global brand strategy, HCP promotional material, sales training etc. The team sets global strategic direction for the brand through a co-creation approach with both global and affiliate stakeholders.

The job is located in Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director and you will be joining a team of energetic and driven marketing professionals engaged in a successful transition from a pure launch brand to a Life Cycle Management (LCM) brand.

The position
In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional and affiliate offices, you will develop and ensure implementation of the global marketing strategy for Tresiba®.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the future success of the product by driving relevant projects, drive marketing deliverables and by managing core processes such as budget, approval and planning.

You will be involved in innovative initiatives to support the brand and a greater future prospective for the brand in the market. You will ensure excellence in brand management globally by acting as a strategic marketing partner to our core markets worldwide. As this job requires you to handle stakeholders globally, both internal and external, approximately 20-30 days of travelling is required a year.

Qualifications
The right candidate for this position holds a Master's degree or above within Business Administration, Marketing, Natural Sciences or similar combined with exceptional pharmaceutical business understanding with a proven track record with minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience within pharmaceutical global marketing/medical affairs/sales/project management is expected.

With a strong focus on the launch of ‘Hypos Matter’ it is preferred that the candidate has affiliate or even sales experience. To become successful in this position, strong marketing and strategic insight is a must and should be combined with outstanding stakeholder management skills.

Communication should be clear and concise, and should be able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in brand strategy and portfolio management is expected. Having leveraging insights about the strategies and tactics are required on a larger platform.

An analytical and innovative mind-set is a must to ensure a continued strong competiveness of the brand.

Finally, fluency in English is expected.
