PE & Blade Factory Lem > Blade Factory Lem > Training and Global transfer

We are looking for a Training Project Lead to join Vestas' business area called Blades, which belongs to Vestas Manufacturing. Blades are responsible for the global production of turbine blades and there are factories in Europa, Asian and North America. The blade factory in Lem is a NPI factory where we develop new blade types - and we need you as a link between the factory in Lem and the factories in the rest of the world.

You will be one of four Training Project Leads, who each has an implementation team connected. You will have the overall responsibility for the “people side” in a successful technology transfer to one of the Blades Factories globally. It will be your responsibility that the training is done systematically following the principles of the Situational Leadership approach. You are expected to lead the way as a good ambassador.

Together with your team, you must secure the training package is completed from our NPI facility, as well as verify that the factory you'll be working with is organisationally ready to receive a new product.

Responsibilities

As Training Project Lead, you will be part of Lem Blades Factory referring directly to Organisational Manager, Kent Madsen.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop training plan for a specific project in corporation with receiving factory and mother factory in accordance with team standards
• Secure prerequisites are meet in receiving factory prior to training commencement
• Secure training is carried out in accordance with global and local QSE requirements
• Secure training standards are followed
• Be a training role model on the shop floor - Strong situational leadership ambassador
• Report on progress to project, department and factory management of receiving factory

Qualifications

To have success with the above, we expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Project Manager experience combined with trainer or education skills
• Prince practitioner experience
• Ability to coach and drive changes through others with situation leadership model
• Super user in Microsoft Office systems & project manager tools e.g. MS project
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English

Additional information
