The Position

KAYAK/momondo are seeking a highly-motivated Account Executive for our Commercial Partnerships team in EMEA. This position will be helping the Commercial team in EMEA by building and maintaining business relationships with Airlines and online travel agencies and assisting the rest of the team with day to day tasks with high maintenance accounts. 

 

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of online consumer behavior, superior analytical skills and the ability to work closely and across the different teams such as engineering, finance, legal and commercial teams.  Candidates must be self-starters and able to thrive in an agile, fast-paced and data-driven environment. 

This position will be based in our Copenhagen, DK office. The Commercial Partnership team is based across 4 offices also including Zürich, London and Berlin and it’s a requirement you’re able to travel. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Handle day-to-day communication (e-mail, phone calls) and performance monitoring (e.g. Reporting) with assigned partners.
• Build, negotiate, and maintain business relationships with partners in our flights vertical.
• Identify and address gaps in content within the search results.
• Maximize existing partner relationships in terms of revenue generation and form new partnerships to benefit our product and users.
• Develop strong relationships with the different teams working closely with the Commercial Partnership team.
• Analysis and monitoring of partner performance and proactive investigation to address changes or issues.
• First line of support for incoming requests from a subset of partners as well as team holiday coverage.
• Support on selected high-end accounts.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and presentation experience.
• Ability to manage projects of varying size and scope simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately.
• Knowledge of other languages is a strong plus.
• Experience from the online travel industry is a plus.
• Technical background or relevant online experience is a plus.
• BA/BS degree required.
