Job Description
QC Bioassay and Virology is focusing on testing of release and stability samples in a variety of complex bioassays as well as viral safety testing on In-Process samples. We are currently looking for a manager with experience within Virology and Bioassay from Biotech/pharmaceutical production and a strong cGMP mindset.
It is important to have a thorough understanding of what is urgent, good in prioritizing accordingly with focus on delivering results in a timely manner as well as an interest in development of team members.
You will be part of the QC management team with the responsibility of a team of 3 scientists and 8 laboratory technicians
Area of responsibilities:
• Overview of the laboratory as well as ensuring that the laboratory is maintained in a state of GMP compliance, that all documentation is in accordance with cGMP, and all reported results are accurate.
• Accountable for the overall performance of analytical methods in QC Bioassay and Virology, and meeting turn-a-round-time of release and stability testing.
• Accountable for timely initiation and closure of troubleshooting/investigation related to dedicated analytical methods.
• Ensure that the laboratory exceptions and deviations are closed timely.
• Proactively identify technical gaps and areas for improvement related to quality or analytical methods and lead them through completion.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree within natural sciences with +5 years of laboratory experience within bioassays and virology (ELISA- and cell-based assays, and coagulation assays).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience from GMP regulated laboratory
• Preferable a minimum of 5 years of manager experience
• You are well structured with strong leadership skills and is motivated by the development of others.
• You are a dedicated team player that show a high degree of responsibility
• You must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Education
A Master’s degree within natural sciences.
