For our Global Training department in Service Wind Power, we are looking for a Training Developer who will be responsible for keeping Siemens Wind Power “top of class” training courses. The Training Developer will initiate, develop and handover training materials, targeting installation and service technicians. The position is part of Global Training Development team which is responsible for developing the different trainings (Safety, Technical and Product&IT) for the technicians within Project and Service teams. This person will deliver in accordance to the latest of Siemens Technology and Quality & EHS standards, when installing and serving wind turbines in the field. What are my responsibilities? · Initiate technical and/or safety training development by specifying requirements in cooperation with R&D, Quality & EHS and other global stakeholders · Develop full training packages, including training instructions, presentations, risk assessments and further crucial information on a structured and strong professional written English · Evaluate new trainings by conducting pilot tests of training packages · Manage the full training packages and hand-over to Train-the-trainers or Instructors globally · You will have an outstanding opportunity of working in a cross-functional and highly professional training environment. This job offers great learning opportunities and full insight into all elements of both training development and execution You must expect 20-30 travel days per year. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical and safety background with at least 3 years of experience with training and development from a global business environment · You are a specialist who excels in working structurally and against tight timelines within a project-oriented environment and highly specialized people · You are self-driven, proactive and persistent on delivering results · You possess excellent intercultural competencies and you are a strong communicator, who excels in cross-functional collaborations · You are fluent in English - orally as well as in writing · For this position you should have experience and knowledge about blade repair or similar within the field (e.g. composite materials) In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
