For our Local Tooling team we are looking for a pro-active and outgoing Tool Specialist/Engineer. The department provides services to various production areas with the needed special tools, special lifting tools and standard equipment to assemble wind turbines. As a Tool Specialist/Engineer you will be working closely with production units for ensuring on time deliveries of tools and equipment in the right quality. Also You will be working closely together with other internal departments and participate in projects, both local and global. What are my responsibilities? Design, develop and implement new special tools and production equipment for the production units. Governance and optimization of existing production tools and equipment. Support the production units and maintenance in relation to implementation and transfer of production equipment. Developing, designing and implementing production tools and equipment for new production launches. Understand PLM for tools and equipment and implement this from step one. Control and support implementation of standard tools to production. Shop floor support to the production units, both local and global. Formulate requirements specification for suppliers and on site follow-up. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a background in engineering, e.g. construction, production, mechanical etc., combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience. You have strong technical/mechanical skills and knowhow. You are experienced in 3D CAD design, e.g. Inventor, NX. Knowledge of EC Machinery directive. Calculations of strength and quality checks in designs. Familiar with project oriented work and executions. You have excellent skills in both Danish and English. As a person you are proactive, persistent and self-driven and you thrive in an environment where you control the development from the need has been identified until the final solution has been implemented.
