For our R&D Software Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an experienced Software Architect for System Engineering. You will be a part of a highly skilled Software Development Team, who is focusing on solving tomorrow’s global energy needs. The System Engineering Team has a key role in assuring the best integrated wind farm software product, compiling deliveries from our Turbine Controller - , Wind Farm Park Controller - and SCADA HW/SW teams. Evaluating technologies within real-time embedded systems, Windows and Linux based platforms, Web technologies are also within the scope of the System Engineering team. Our software development follow agile processes and our results are founded by collaboration between project teams in different time zones and cultures. What are my responsibilities? Participate in a technical breakdown and defining interfaces for cross functional projects in cooperation with our stakeholders Drive evaluation of software technologies/trends within your field of expertise Participate in management of the Software Department Product and Technology Roadmap Participate in assuring software target architecture is able to fulfill future requirements Big Picture Thinking What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a degree as Bachelor/Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Scientist or similar You are able to overview complex computer systems You have several years of experience working with software architecture You have strong skills within development of software for embedded systems, Windows/Linux platforms or similar. You have experience within object-oriented programming frameworks, C++, C#, .NET etc. You have experience with Agile Software Development ex. SCRUM You are holistic and you have a structured result- and quality-oriented approach to your work You thrive in a dynamic environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing The primary workplace is located in Brande. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
