For our Material Department in the Technology Headquarters in Brande we are looking for dedicated and ambitious Test Engineer. As our material and small component testing engineer, you get to work in a dynamic international team located in a State of the Art test center. What are my responsibilities? · Test Planning and Test Designing: Create drawings and specifications for machining of specimens · Running tests on material and components in our TE lab eg. Electro magnetic shaker, fatigue machines and tensile machines · Failure analysis · Define sets of test conditions (geometry, sample size, strain rate, thickness) and design of test specimens · Knowledge of DOE · Act as the main interface for the machine shop to develop solutions together · Design non-standard geometries when required by available material (volume, dimensions) or available fixturing · Cooperate and coordinate with external labs and continue to expand our network of contacts with labs throughout the EU What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a bachelors or a Masters degree (also newly qualified) in material science or mechanical engineering or you are an experienced material testing technician · You have extensive knowledge of materials to be tested and a thorough understanding of materials testing machines and technologies · You have an extensive knowledge of testing standards (EN, ISO, ASTM, DIN) · You can maintain the overview on all projects in the MTE pipeline · You can manage shifting priorities to develop testing schedule · You are practically minded and have a hands-on approach · You are good at interfacing with stakeholders from various departments in SWP · You possess strong communication skills and excellent English skills orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
