Job ID: 137757 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time We are looking for a Team Lead for our experienced team of specialists responsible for noise measurements and vibration test and analysis to support the validation of new turbine prototypes through the development phase and up until type approval.The position is located in our Engineering HQ in Brande and is part of our brand new Test Center. What are my responsibilities? The measurement and analysis typical covers: Noise measurements on turbines in the field, using advanced noise measurements techniques and analysis for R&D work, assist at 3rd party noise measurements, Vibrations measurements, Modal tests, Operational Deflection Shape (ODS) Measurements, Operational Modal Analyses (OMA) Measurements, and development of new advanced measurement techniques in close corporation whit our design teams. Support sales and service with specialist knowledge is a part of daily work in the team. Your main tasks will be: Managing and further develop a highly specialized and experienced team Planning measuring campaign in corporation with projects Ensure delivery of test results in terms of quality and timing. Managing measurements related to costumer and neighbor complaints Further development of our methods and ensure compliance with IEC measurement standards Managing 3rd party noise measurements Budget and Cost controlling What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Master’s degree in Engineering e.g. specialized in acoustics or vibrations. Preferable you have experience in testing wind turbines or integrated mechanical and electrical products. As a person, you have a structured and focused approach to your assignments. You thrive in a multicultural environment and are a dedicated team player who knows how to utilize the experience of the team. You have excellent communication skills and can interface with numerous parties. Furthermore, you possess fluency in both spoken and written English. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
