For our Site Layout team, Onshore North, organization, placed in Ikast, Denmark, we are looking for a Site Layout Engineer. The Site Layout team is responsible for providing technical support regarding cranes, heavy load transport and installation strategy from the first tender to the completion of the project. The Site Layout team is responsible for working out general and project specific requirements for the civil works needed in order for Siemens Wind Power to be able to deliver and install wind turbines. What are my responsibilities? • Working out general and project specific documentation related to the construction phase of the projects. • Supporting the involved departments in the phases of the project with focus on standards and requirements to civil works / site conditions and transportation. • Performing site visits for optimization and coordination with the client and there civil engineers and contractors. • Supporting the Tender & transport-, Proposal- and the Project departments for optimized solutions. What do I need to qualify for this job? • You hold a degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or equivalent combined with experience from project execution with in civil work and/or construction business. • Project experience from the wind industry will be seen as an advantage including heavy transport and cranes. • You possess strong English skills both orally and in writing. • You are an experienced AutoCAD and MS Office user. • You have a profound inter-cultural understanding and you are able to influence and communicate with people across different functions and levels within an international organization. • You thrive and navigate easily in a dynamic and complex environment where entrepreneurship is highly valued. • You have a proactive and self-driven approach to your tasks, and you welcome new challenges. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
