To strengthen our project team in Siemens Aeration Competence Center in Elsinore, we are looking for an experienced Team Manager Project Management who can plan and direct the activities of cross-functional teams assigned to large manufacturing projects. What are my areas of responsibilities? Generel management 20% of the total time. • Plans and manages resource allocations and task assignments within a matrix managed environment • Responsible for managing the PM group and act as a role model • Through visible leadership, steer and coach the group so they can identify themselves with the policies, guidelines and strategies of the company • Identify and develop potential managers • Lead as an example for the employees and secure the cross-organizational cooperation Project management 80% of the total time • Participate in final contract negotiation before order intake in co-operation w. Sales, when deemed necessary • Full project responsibility from project hand-over to end of warranty period • Single point of contact for all customer communication including co-ordination w. production sites • Ensure preparations and distribution of necessary project documentation • Ensure on time project related purchasing and production start-up • Prepare and continuously update project plans including follow-up • Continuously check fulfillment of contractual obligations • Follow-up on the commercial performance of the project according to agreed schedule/procedure • Release of the project for shipment to the customer in co-operation with the different suppliers and production sites • Co-ordinate the start-up and commissioning in co-operation with the Service organization • Execute and follow-up on project changes in the project lifetime (hand-over to end-of-warranty) • Contribute to the continuous development of the processes and tools to increase the efficiency of the department Travel activity: Approximately 15 – 30 days per year. How do I qualify for the position? • B.SC or M.Sc. as mechanical engineer, process engineer or similar technical background is preferable • Experience in managing and co-ordinating international projects • Familiar or knowledge about process plants will be an advantage • Commercial flair/interest and business knowledge in global context. Able to see the business from a local and global Siemens view while keeping the customer perspective • Fluent in English writing and spoken. • Proficiencient in German • One or more language such as French or Spanish, will be an advantage. • Able to navigate in a dynamic environment. • Entrepreneurial, open-minded and self-driven. • Engaged with a desire and will to continuously improve and develop the project manager role, the business and the company. • Appreciate different cultures.
