For our Nacelle Department within the Technology Department in Brande we are looking for a dedicated CAD Designer. The department is responsible for development and maintenance of one of the major modules in a wind turbine – the Nacelle. The Design Engineer plays a central role in the department as they are materializing their ideas in new design and solutions. The development is done in consideration of manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, cost and reliability. You will get to work with highly skilled engineers and with the largest module in the wind turbine. You will get the opportunity to specialize within a large variety of sub-disciplines. What are my responsibilities? · Development considering personal safety, manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, cost and reliability · 3D modelling including large assembly containing standard parts · Design specification (2D Drawing w. GPS, Purchase specifications) · Review of own and others design and documentation. · Design Risk Assessment What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a Bachelor or a Master in mechanical engineering - preferably with craftsman background (e.g. car mechanic) · You are structured, methodical and organized and thrive in a changeable environment · You are independent and can solve your tasks with a minimum of support · You are structured and detail focused and you will not accept poor quality in your own work · You are supportive and have a helpful and service minded approach to colleagues and tasks · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
