For our R&D Electrical Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to strengthen our department in the area of medium voltage equipment and transformer design. The department is responsible for the development of all electrical hardware components and systems used in our wind turbines. Furthermore we are responsible for converter application engineering, lightning protection development and EMC conformity. A comprehensive solution approach is essential for the department’s success due to the diverse complexity of the owned components and solutions. What are my responsibilities? · Development, test and validation of electrical hardware · Participation in wind turbine development and technology projects · Test and validation of developed solutions · Evaluation of technical solutions and components, e.g. in cooperation with suppliers · Perform quality assessments on developed solutions, e.g. D-FMEA, DRA, etc. · Incorporate health and safety aspects into solutions. · Provide high quality documentation on components and systems What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a university degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years experience in the areas MV/HV engineering and transformer design · An overall electrical understanding of complex electrical systems is required; wind turbine knowledge is an advantage · You thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are a dedicated team player · You have excellent analytical and practical skills · You have strong communication skills and can interface with numerous parties · You possess fluency in spoken and written English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
