Would you like to help us manage and execute our scope and change control philosophy across our expanding portfolio of wind projects? Join us and become a Scope & Change Specialist in our Scope & Change Management team that is part of our Project Support department which is responsible for assisting project teams through all stages of the project life cycle – from the development phase until completion of construction. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As a Scope & Change Specialist, you will implement and drive scope and change management in the project in compliance with the company’s policies and processes. You will implement and manage the processes of eliciting and analysing requirements; defining project scope and securing agreement between stakeholders on interfaces; and performing integrated change control. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •prepare and maintain project scope and change management plans, project scope statement and establish the requirements traceability matrix and change log •facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit, analyse and handle the communication of requirements, interfaces and change requests; and support the decision-making process to ensure that all new items are agreed •prepare scope and change reports and participate in project progress meetings •manage project change control board meetings •ensure continuous development of the team’s templates and tools by feeding back any lessons learned from within the project to the team. Your profile You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree providing a strong foundation in project management or business analysis. Moreover, you have some relevant work experience from the wind or construction industries and extensive experience from a similar position working in a strong matrix organisation. You have experience working in projects using the PMI framework and preferably have certification as a Project Management Professional. You have proficiency in MS Office programs and Sharepoint. It is vital that you have a systematic approach to your work and are able to deliver high-quality advice and results using the appropriate tools and competences. You have a flair for problem solving and working with complicated analytical issues. Furthermore, you will be able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and business partners, both face-to-face and as a member of a virtual team. As you will handle many stakeholders in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently.
