Alfa Laval is looking for a Solution Manager to the E&S Unit for Energy and Process Segment Engineering & Supply - Energy & Process (E&S PEP) is responsible for project management, engineering and delivery of modules and process systems to Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Inorganic, Metal & Paper Industries. We are introducing a new position, Solution Manager, with big potential to influence the competitiveness of our solutions and our business growth. Responsibilities: As a Solution Manager you are going to work close to our market units and sales engineers in order to explore new and existing industry areas, mapping business opportunities and as result lead the development of new products. You will also be responsible to create and implement road maps for standardization/ modularization of existing products and systems. You have to initiate and follow on initiatives (such as cost competitiveness, costing updates, idea generation, supply chain optimization etc.) in order to secure development and competitiveness of the E&S PEP Systems and Products. This includes communicate, train, receive feedback and maintain best practices within the area. You will also indirectly manage the product responsible in charge of our products and systems. Qualifications: You hold a degree in Engineering at university level and are technically strong with some experience in mechanical constructions of modules and/or process systems. You have a good understanding for processes preferably involving separation and/or heat transfer. You are familiar with terms such as modularization, standardization and competitiveness. As a person you are structured, creative, positive, possess good communication skills and are result driven. A portion of leadership skills is needed as you are going to coordinate cross department work. It is a must to have flair for and strong interest in business development. Practicalities: The position requires about 20-40 travelling days/year and is based in Søborg, Denmark.
