Based in Copenhagen, Vestas is looking for a Senior Specialist in the field of Global Market Intelligence to perform deep market/financial analysis in order to provide a holistic view of markets, customers and competitors across all markets parameters. Global Marketing, Communication & Corporate Relations Global Marketing, Communication & Corporate Relations (GMCR) is the commercial centre point of Vestas, holding responsibility for the global platforms within Marketing, Communication, Public Affairs, Branding, Customer Excellence, Competitor Intelligence, and Commercial Product Planning, and for supporting commercial strategy development and implementation. Responsibilities: Lead the Vestas Global Intelligence community with Global sales Management, TSS and other Vestas functions in order to give a holistic view of markets, customers and competitors across all markets parameters (pricing, purchasing behaviors, strategies etc..) Perform lost deal analysis on key deals with the regional Intel office and ensure structured on time feedback to the sales community Perform deep dive analysis on awarded deals to ensure capturing of best practice and key learnings to the global sales community Provide insights to the Global campaign team to ensure that the Marketing activities are based on market ad customer requirements Ownership of the Vestas Market Forecast: Vestas’ internal market forecast (rolling ten-year), baseline from wind market forecast of EER Adjustment of EER figures based on Vestas market knowledge, in collaboration with Public Affairs and SBUs Foundation for corporate strategy, commercial market strategies, Product Market Strategy, VPS3 Manage all external subscriptions for external providers of market analysis & industry news Provide outside view on market development, incl. turbine pricing, supply chain, market shares Direct market and customer research efforts to support tactical marketing and planning activities, customer initiatives and strategic marketing investment opportunities Qualifications: Master of Science/Business 5 years' experience, preferably with market /financial analysis Knowledge of energy and wind industry, international experience Experience in cross-functional, cross-cultural teams; interpersonal relationships, including more-senior colleagues Superior quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, including statistical, interviewing, financial, secondary literature Ability to translate business problems into a strategy, and to translate findings back into business Competencies: Focus on detail, and willingness to engage in operational tasks Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment Deep understanding of the industry Superior written and verbal presentation and communication skills in English, and comfort presenting up to the most senior levels What we offer: We are a team of skilled and committed colleagues who are all enthusiastic about wind energy.
