Create concepts founded on children´s play insights As Show Runner, you play a central role in developing new story concepts for TV series and webisodes. We create our own IPs in a condensed process linked to our key LEGO® Products. Collaborating with concept developers, script writers and external production companies, you work creatively on concept development. When projects move into the production phase, you will take on a role doing both creative work and coordination. As Show Runner in CMA, you will: Head up TV content development and carry the outcome to multiple partners both within the LEGO Group and to our external partners Take concepts from ideas into production, making sure that our products fit the story and vice versa Hire writers, including writing ‘test briefs’ for potential writers to get relevant writing samples Create stories, including reviewing scripts, consolidating feedback and running development of scripts with the writer Produce content, including taking the concept beyond just words on paper with briefs, illustrations and “selling in videos” to make the concept/content easily accessible and attractive Tell the stories you dreamt of as a kid You will join a dedicated, creative team in the Consumer Marketing Agency - CMA, the in-house full-service ad agency in the LEGO Group, located in Denmark, the US and Shanghai. We are involved in all aspects of communication development - from strategy and concept development to the graphic execution of online and offline materials. 90% of the global marketing campaigns from the LEGO Group have our signature on them. A strong creative, balancing the big picture with a focus on details As you get the privilege of following projects from initial idea into production, you will need to merge your creative side with your ability to coordinate and create structure in a process with multiple stakeholders. Moreover, you will be part of pushing back through the creative setups linked to the product development process to secure that story and product go hand in hand. To succeed in this role, you: Have 5+ years of experience from the Movies/Games/Production industries. Either as a Show Runner or along with previous experience as a story loving Screen Writer, Show Runner or other story development experience Hold a BA, MA or have work related experience in either Film Production, Screen Writing, Communication or Advertising Have strong story development skills and understand how to construct and write a good story – script or screen writing skills is a definite plus but not a demand, as is gre-t visualisation skills Have experience in preparing and implementing complex projects collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders Speak and write English effortlessly Bringing it to life "Curiosity asks "why" and imagines explanations or possibilities.
