Would you like to perform financial controlling, optimise processes and impact how we conduct reporting within the Middle Office & Payment Center? Then join us to set the direction and lift us towards excellence. Put your mark on how we conduct reporting You join 6 people in the LEGO® Middle Office and Payment Center. Here, you use your financial knowledge to improve reporting towards the Treasury department and optimise our process for evaluating risk arising from derivatives and foreign currency exposure on Group level. Your main focus will be to perform financial controlling and reporting. Furthermore, you take charge of optimising our existing processes and: On a monthly basis you perform controlling and reporting on the Treasury department's performance and currency impact on the LEGO Group Take part in creating the quarterly financial statement on group level with focus on financial items and financial instruments Perform IFRS hedge accounting on derivatives and make sure that derivatives are reported correctly in the financial statement and in risk reports Improve processes around the use of systems such as FXall for currency trading and Bloomberg as data feed into SAP Handle bank account administration and governance, and occasionally run our In-House Cash module and make automated payments as well as online banking payments Impact our performance As Financial Controller, you will get a chance to develop a deep expertise of how a Treasury department works with a Front, Middle and Back Office as well as the chance to conduct financial controlling and reporting in financial statements. Experience with derivatives, controlling and accounting The challenge in this position is to get a total overview of all foreign currency exposure and its impact on the financial state of the LEGO Group. To do this, you know how to retrieve and crunch data and realise the internal demands. To succeed, you: Hold a degree in finance, accounting or similar with 2-3 years of experience, perhaps with knowledge of derivatives from a Middle Office, a Group Controller position or as an auditor Have experience with IFRS, preferably hedge accounting, are well-versed in controlling and accounting, and can communicate effortlessly in English Are familiar with SAP and preferably also SAP FSCM, and you are a true Excel expert Can analyse financial processes, understand complex issues and stay proactive in terms of settling projects Have the ability to change sometimes complex processes to the better Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment.
