Vattenfall´s Business Area Wind is now recruiting a Comissioning Engineer to be part of the Construction Management Organisation. The organisation is responsible for the safe and timely installation and commissioning of Vattenfall’s offshore wind farms. The role will be Esbjerg. During the planning phase frequent trips will be required to the Hamburg project office. If required you will also be expected to work on projects across our offshore portfolio. You are using your knowledge, experience and sound judgement to support on all aspect of the commissioning work. Implementing & Supervising all aspects of electrical safety, HV Commissioning & Energisation Offshore set down by the commissioning manager. Your job as Commissioning Engineer In the role as Commissioning Engineer you will manage the dtd coordination of the works of the offshore Senior Authorized Person and offshore Appointed Persons in accordance with the HV safety rules’ and the commissioning plan. In addition to that you are expected to handle Day-to-day operation offshore transformer platform, in association with the Commissioning Manager during construction phase, interim operational phase and final hand-over to Generation It is expected that you are implementing the Back Energisation procedures and switching schedules to energize the wind farm in line with the Commissioning Managers requirements this also includes the coordinating testing, commissioning and energisation of all offshore submersible cabling, where necessary Your profile as Commissioning Engineer •Bachelors/Masters engineering degree or similar •Electrician with Senior Authorized Person experience •Good English Language Skills, an advantage if you also have German and Danish language skills, and knowledge of German electrical safety rules •Experience in: ?Management of electrical safety ?HV commissioning ?Control of HV operations and switching ?Grid code and grid connection requirements •Team player with excellent communication skills •Ability to work in an international environment •Well organized and structured work approach Location Esbjerg We offer We offer you a challenging and independent job in an informal working environment.
