Are you ready to take up a new role among talented international colleagues in a global shipping company? As a Shipping Trainee in TORM you will be part of an international organization, enrolled in a challenging education with the opportunity to explore an exciting career within shipping.  

What TORM can offer 

TORM offers a two-year trainee program based on practical and theoretical education commencing on 1 September 2019. You will obtain qualifications in the key areas of shipping, and during your education you will rotate and experience different departments such as Commercial Operations, Chartering, Technical Operations and Business Support.

You are passionate about doing a great job and always act with your customers’ needs in mind.   Furthermore, we expect that you have/are: 

  • STX, HHX or similar with good grades 
  • Mathematics on B-level  
  • Alternatively, BSc in International Shipping and Trade or another relevant bachelor’s degree within Business Administration 
  • Fluent in English – both written and oral 
  • It will be considered an advantage if you have experience from the industry, the military, stays abroad and/or speak additional languages  

As the work environment is very important to us, the right candidate will be one who can contribute to the positive social atmosphere at TORM. TORMs trainee program is a challenging and demanding course where it is necessary to prioritize work and education highly.
