Are you looking for a unique strategic Business Development position in one the world's leading companies within renewable energy solutions? An opportunity to be part of a small team reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Vestas Power Solutions, the business unit that develops all plant, hybrid and turbine solutions.

Business Development drives the development of the technology strategy and business plan for Vestas Power Solutions by aligning strategic initiatives to enable accomplishment of the company's vision and mission. Thereby we also develop materials for Executive Management and Board meetings.

The team also has responsibility for leading deployment of selected strategic and business-critical cross organisational projects, both within the business unit and across Vestas

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks and responsibility areas will include:

• To drive and lead strategic and business-critical projects mainly in Vestas Power Solutions but most likely with impact across the value chain.
• Plan, govern and execute the projects in close collaboration with colleagues from across the organisation.
• To craft and lead stakeholder management activities
• As part of the projects, to prepare communication material for workshops and in general towards relevant stakeholders including Vestas Power Solutions management to secure alignment and decisions

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's Degree in finance, business, or similar and a minimum of 10 years of business experience from a large, international company. Furthermore, you have a proven track record of successfully leading large cross-functional and business-critical projects within complex stakeholder environments.

Relevant consultancy experience is preferred but not required.

Additional information

Primary work location: Aarhus, Denmark.

You should expect approximately 20-30 travelling days per year.
