You will be part of our Fieldbus team and have 10 professionals as your nearest colleagues based in both Denmark and Finland. We specify, develop, and maintain fieldbus options for Danfoss Drives products for customers worldwide. Specify, design, and validate fieldbuses for various applications You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle from specification to design, validation, and implementation. Together with your colleagues, you are to identify how the fieldbuses are utilised in an application in order to provide solutions that meet the customer’s needs. In the process, you will facilitate communication with our external partner who provides most of the designs. Moreover, you design and implement our own fieldbus designs or modify existing designs. Specifically, you will: •Create fieldbuses to support our applications •Specify the software task from a problem or requirement •Coordinate development together with our external partner •Perform debugging at application and hardware/software level Your responsibilities also include coordination in relation to outsourcing of components. Furthermore, you will be responsible for training within the named fieldbus for internal R&D and Marketing as well as providing technical input for the global training material. Open-minded with experience within Industrial Ethernet communication and automation You may have a Master’s degree in industrial communication and automation combined with a Master’s degree in software engineering. You have some years of experience within Industrial Ethernet communication and automation, or you could be a new graduate brought up with the right training – as long as you have solid knowledge of Ethernet and TCI/IP within industrial applications. On a more personal note, you are eager to learn and have the ability to embrace new tools and methods fast. You are known for your open mind and communicative approach to colleagues and customers, enabling you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography. At the same time, you pay attention to detail and have a sense of quality permitting you to come up with the right solutions, and you are willing to make the necessary decisions.
