We are now seeking a new colleague to carry out Statutory and Class Approvals in our office in Hellerup, Copenhagen. Job Responsibilities To carry out Statutory and Class approvals related to fire and safety aspects of both new construction and conversions for ship types like; Convention Cargo and Passenger ships, ships below Convention size, Yachts build to either LY3, Red Ensign Passenger Yacht Code. Further the job is to this assist clients in the design and construction phase and participate as 3rd party independent witnessing of fire tests carried out at accredited laboratories in Scandinavia Job Requirements • Degree in Naval Architecture. • Minimum 3-years experience within Statutory regime from Yard, class, shipowner, consultant etc. • Client focused. • Good communication skills (working language is English). • Commercial Awareness. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Ability to prioritise work and meet LR and Clients deadlines. • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
