Release Train Engineer / Program Manager, IT Solutions - Aarhus

Are you an experienced Release Train Manager or Program Manager, do you have lots of experience with agile ways of working and do you want to make a difference? If you can answer yes these questions, then you should join our agile IT Solutions team at Arla Foods. We are looking for a strong profile to lead our HR and Finance release train, where you will work with colleagues in Denmark, Germany, Poland and the UK.

A value driven facilitator, who has the passion for agile development methods
You will join our Business Automation and Employee Self Service (BAESS) program/release train, whose vision is to empower the supporting functions (Finance, Legal and HR) in Arla to provide employees with digital tools for core processes.

You will be a key player in our organisation as you facilitate the SAFe processes for the program. You will work closely in the management of the program with the Solution Architect, Product Manager and Business Change Manager. Other key relationships will include Business owners, Test Manager and Scrum Masters.

Doing so, you have a talent and passion for agile principles, who takes pride in solving complex dilemmas and facilitating the required discussion to ensure focus on creating value. You will be responsible for the funding and roadmap for the My Digital Workspace program together with the program management team.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• Recruiting and development of teams
• Creating the program/train roadmap, update backlogs and creating architecture and business impact assessment
• Preparing PI-planning, facilitating the PI-planning and demos of the deliverables of features to the business
• Reporting of budget, status and business value the program brings to the business
• Coaching the scrum masters to ensure high performance in the all teams
• Facilitating a close collaboration with the Product Manager and System Architect
• Implement SAFE principles and best practices for the program/train

You will travel approx. 20 days per year to meet colleagues and partners around the world.

Overall, you get to drive the program/train to let the vision come alive by ensuring high performance teams with a great attitude. Your collaboration towards different stakeholders is of high importance as you deliver new, value adding features.

We look forward to receiving applications from candidates with a relevant masters degree and minimum 5 years experience of leading IT projects. You must have clear experience with agile ways of working with the knowledge and passion to be a key player in our ongoing development. A strong IT understanding is required, allowing you to engage in dialogue with your colleagues but equally you are skilled at adapting your message to communicate to non technical stakeholders and linking IT and business needs. 

You are a skilled facilitator, who is result orientated and creates results through engaged and committed teams. You are able to collaborate with multi-cultural teams, product owners, program management team and the business to ensure delivery is achieved.

Finally, you speak and write English effortlessly.
