We are looking for an ambitious Project Portfolio Manager, who is able to combine strategic work with the hands on day-to-day operations of our portfolio management for projects improving our global component manufacturing network . We work with project portfolios at a global scale and you will be the driving force uniting the processes across cultures, borders and departments constantly ensuring that all stakeholders are on board. About the department Anchored in Novo Nordisk Business Support in Hilleroed, Denmark, you will be part of a small project office handling strategic and technological project portfolios. Our dedicated team handles all back office project portfolio work, including semi-annual reviews, weekly portfolio meetings, investment support and relevant reports. DMS Business Support spans all our supporting functions for our manufacturing of components for devices used by Novo Nordisk. The job With reference to the Director of DMS Business Support, your primary tasks will be to manage project portfolios and ensure that the process surrounding the projects is handled correctly. This includes facilitating the sourcing of ideas and ensuring an efficient process when handling both strategic and technical projects. Furthermore, you will handle back office activities and ensure alignment and coordination of actions. As Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance activities of a specific project portfolio. The tasks include ensuring clarity of the portfolio status to all key stakeholders. Likewise, you will be responsible for facilitating meetings including drafting the minutes and consolidating the monthly agenda. We expect that you proactively suggest improvements to the portfolio standards. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree in Business Economics or similar and has at least 2 years’ experience with managing complex cross-functional project portfolios. Furthermore, you have at least 3 years’ experience with managerial support in relation to driving projects. Experience working with cGMP, LEAN and PEM methodology as well as relevant experience from manufacturing medical devices and pharmaceuticals is a plus. In your work, you rely on your independence and communication skills to ensure that all stakeholders are on top of the specific project portfolio. Likewise, you are a visible and proactive portfolio manager who is able to manage change and establish collaboration across the organisation. You possess an open mind-set, which gives you an edge in our global and dynamic organisation. You are fluent in English both written and oral.
