Department of Energy Conversion and Storage at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) invites applications for a 9 months postdoctoral position working with the development and characterization of solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries, specifically nano-confined electrolytes. Responsibilities and tasks The position is focused on the synthesis as well as structural and electrochemical characterization of the nano-confined, solid electrolytes in connection with intercalation and sulfur electrodes. Qualifications Candidates should hold a PhD degree or equivalent in physics, chemistry, engineering or materials science. The candidates are expected to have performed original scientific research within electrochemical characterization of battery materials. Preferences will also be given to candidates with experience in solid battery electrolytes, plastic crystals and/or ionic liquids. The successful candidate is innovative and able to work both independently and in cross-disciplinary teams.
