About the department Global Safety Project Office is part of the Global Safety organisation (~420 employees) in Novo Nordisk reporting to the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. We drive key strategic projects within global patient safety (Pharmacovigilance) and product quality. You will be part of a dynamic department consisting of 11 employees including 2 colleagues situated in Bangalore, India. The professional backgrounds in the department are diverse, however, primarily within IT project management and management consulting. We are ambitious and strive for excellence. We are responsible for driving a global project portfolio, the IT strategy and performance reporting in Global Safety. The position You will be responsible for driving work stream(s) within larger projects or drive smaller projects with sparring from senior colleagues. The job offers frequent senior management interaction, leadership responsibility and requires global internal and external stakeholder management. You will have the opportunity to plan and execute challenging projects together with the team drawing on the collective knowledge of the entire department through frequent sparring. Projects include IT development (within our key IT systems or new IT systems e.g. within Business Intelligence and innovative business applications), process optimisation or strategy. You will be exposed to different organisational units throughout Novo Nordisk. You will build a strong global network and further develop your skills guided by our project model and tools. You will be responsible for driving department initiatives and we expect you to be an active part in the development of the department. Qualifications The person we are looking for has completed a relevant Master’s Degree (Business Administration, IT, Engineering, Economics, Pharma or the like) with excellent results. Ideally you have 1-2 years of experience with project management, preferably from a well-reputed IT or management consultancy or pharmaceutical company. You may also be a key talent through a graduate programme. You are motivated by driving change and improvements involving many stakeholders at all organisational levels. You have a high level of drive, initiative and persistence. You are structured and result-oriented. Furthermore, you are ambitious and you enjoy working with challenging tasks.
