Technical support is responsible for all tools, processes, production setup and documentation, and is working in introducing new products as well as continuously improving our current production setup. The team consists of 18 Engineers, technicians and Technical assistants covering a range of skills from maintenance to process improvements.
Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all project activities and deliveries, whilst supporting the manufacturing floor by leading machine improvement and uptime activities to help the areas to meet the established goals and demand plan.
You will drive equipment and processes improvements and serve as focal point of contact daily between Production, TS, PQ and other stakeholders, together with working closely with TS technicians and Maintenance technicians, to ensure processes and equipment in area to meet operational requirements, efficiency and availability requirements.
- Install manufacturing equipment, develop standard operating procedures and provide technical support
- Train and/ or coordinate trainings for manufacturing personnel when required, while ensuring learnings between NPI and production, to ensure optimisations on products, deliverables and processes
- Monitor performance metrics as yield, machine efficiency and drive improvements on quality and performance measures
- Ensure material and documentation alignment in production
- Ensure risk assessment and failure mode analyses to identify new/existing processes for cost reduction or quality improving products and processes
- Handle Engineering change management requests and give inputs and feedback in regard to the respective process area
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical preferred)
- 5 years+ of engineering experience
- LEAN knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
- Technical English
- Experience with FMEA tools

- You must be analytical by nature
- Be fluent in English
