Are you innovative, digitally-minded and have experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)? Then we are looking for you to take part in the digitalisation of Grundfos and help us create the factory of the future by implementing and optimizing our use of PLM across a global organization.

The backbone of a PLM system is a major focus area for the global Grundfos organization and a key part of our digitalization journey. Right now, we are in the process of selecting our future PLM system and as our new PLM Specialist, it is your responsibility to set the direction for the way PLM is used in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and Operations within Grundfos.

Collaborate across Grundfos
You will join the AME Digital Development & Innovation team, where you and 6 dedicated colleagues work closely together in developing and implementing new technologies in our factory of the future – a factory in Bjerringbro dedicated to developing methods to increase our efficiency. Here, your main task will be to drive and develop Grundfos’ PLM project from AME and Operations. This means that you will take part of planning and budgeting as well as specifying and coordinating technical aspects. Furthermore, you will be the representative of AME and Operations in Grundfos’ PLM office and work closely together with other PLM experts from across our business units. This enables you to quickly build a large network within Operations, Product Development and IT that can support you in your daily work.

Drive PLM across AME and Operations
As our new PLM expert in AME and Operations, you are the person who is able to understand and diagnose issues and provide technical support to our future PLM users. This includes troubleshooting, identifying and escalating technical requirements. You will also participate in system and development-related projects as you:

• Together with colleagues from Product Development and IT describe and develop the use of PLM in the global Grundfos organization
• Secure alignment between crucial business processes and PLM
• Secure all technical aspects of implementing PLM across operations

• Support change management towards using PLM in the organization
• Are the technical responsible for our PLM activities in AME and Operations and thereby responsible for specifying requirements, supervising the use and handling future development needs
• Build a global network for PLM across Operations

“You will be driving the implementation of a backbone system which potentially will revolutionise our way of thinking about documentation, simulation and data transparency in Grundfos. In that sense, there is also an element of change management to your role. You will be collaborating with a wide network of colleagues to put PLM on the map and continuously support the use,” says Manager, Simon Rosenberg Bolmgren.

PLM enthusiast who can make things happen
We are looking for a committed colleague who wants to make things happen. You have a passion for PLM, and you are just as happy working at the strategic level as you are getting your hands dirty and testing out new features yourself. You enjoy working with a large network of colleagues and have a natural flair for establishing strong relations at all organizational levels. You are not afraid of setting the direction, and when faced with resistance, you push your ideas forward with persistence.

Moreover, you have:

• An educational background as B.Sc. or M.Sc. in IT or engineering and knowledge of production within the mechanical or electronic industry
• Preferably 5+ years of experience with PLM systems and the processes of PLM
• Excellent IT understanding and skills, preferably within enterprises software scripting e.g. Java, C# or .Net
• Excellent communication skills and you speak and write English
