About the department:
Novo Nordisk sales affiliate, based in Ørestad, Copenhagen, is looking for an ambitious and energetic employee to join the Nordic Logistics team. The Nordic Logistics department is responsible for the commercial supply chain operation in Nordic countries by ensuring the effective and efficient flow of goods.

You will be part of the Danish Finance & Operations team and will be working together with 6-8 other dedicated employees.
 

The job:
We are looking for an experienced person with an interest in business and supply chain, who wants to join a leading global company in the pharmaceutical industry dedicated to improve patient care. The position offers great opportunities for functional and personal development.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure availability and uninterrupted supply of Novo Nordisk products within the Nordics countries, including the coordination among the various internal and external parts of the supply chain. You will act as Business Partner towards one of two of the Nordic countries. Internal stakeholders include Affiliate Finance Directors, Quality departments, Supply planners and launch teams. External stakeholders are wholesalers, local authorities, hospitals, transport companies, etc.

You will be responsible for key business processes in the daily operation, including performing financial transactions and controls. Furthermore, together with experienced colleagues, you will be involved in developing processes and procedures in our supply chain that will enable us to work smarter and/or faster. As Logistics Analyst you will also be responsible for liaising with present and potential distribution-related service providers to ensure co-operative relationships, as well as ensuring that distributors operate in accordance with company procedures and GDP quality requirements.

You are expected to handle the above challenges in an ever-changing environment which is full of high profile, emergencies and surprises. You have a quality mind-set – Novo Nordisk does not compromise on patient safety!
 

Qualifications:
You have a relevant Master’s Degree within a relevant discipline e.g. Engineering, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent, with preferably +4  years of experience. Additionally, you have gained experience within project management. Technical experience with SAP is an advantage.

Personally you are highly engaged and have a positive mind-set. You work independently and enjoy a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while managing deadlines in a structured way. You build relationships across cultures and business’ as well as get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You have good communication and coordination skills and are proactive in your daily work. Strong English and Scandinavian language skills are required both written and oral. You have a quality mind-set and strong analytical skills.
