The Job
Phillips-Medisize A/S is looking for an experienced Design Team Lead who can lead technical projects with focus on product architecture and interface between hardware, software and mechanical design.
To manage the complex development projects your responsibility as a Design Team Lead is to:
• Take the system responsibility for the design through-out the development phase
• Secure product architecture and interface between different technologies
• Ensure compliance between product requirements and product performance
• Ensure efficient and competitive product development
• In close cooperation with the Project Manager be responsible for the complete project management
• Close communication and status with internal stakeholders
• Facilitate and document project meetings and ensure relevant project documentation
As Design Team Lead you will be technically responsible for one or more projects and typically you will manage design activities ranging from concept development, detailed device development and transfer to final production.
The Candidate
For this position the minimum required qualifications are:
• Master’s or Bachelor degree in engineering or similar
• Background from electronics or mechatronics alternatively from mechanics or software
• Proven lead skills from product development and strong technical understanding
• Strong communication and project lead skills
• Preferably experience with design for user interaction, design for robustness, design for manufacture, design for assembly
You are not afraid to take lead in complex discussions or with hands-on execution. From previous experience, you know how to uphold the required level of quality in a fast-paced environment. You are both practical and analytical, well structured and hold a professional dialogue. Being accustomed to complex situations and processes, you work and think independently and are self-motivated. You are fluent in English.
