Plant Solutions is responsible for developing software applications and services to layout and optimize the performance of Vestas' wind power plants. This ranges from SCADA-systems, power plant controllers, performance and diagnostics tools - to weather and flow modelling software running on supercomputers, weather and power plant solutions to radar systems. We provide the tools that enable selecting the right locations, ensuring correct integration to the power grid, controlling the power plants according to the environment and customer demands and optimizing service by diagnostic analysis. Plant Solutions consists of five departments with sub-departments on most continents and through our broad scope of deliveries we have interfaces to Sales, Service, Manufacturing and many other of Vestas' key areas. Responsibilities: The main responsibility for our new colleague, is to support the daily management and operation of Plant Solutions through maintaining and strengthening structures that support innovation and the development of the function. You will be a key person for assisting the VP, the management team and the department. The main tasks for this position will be: Project and department support: •Responsible for planning and scoping of Plant Solutions management projects on a tactical level •Assist in consolidating overview of Plant Solutions development projects in terms of execution plans and budgets •Responsible for preparation of development projects for gate meetings •Taking care of stakeholder management, technical lead communication, bookkeeping in regard to internal strategy and system functions •Performance management: Responsible for resource analysis and overview of development projects and activities Communication: •Develop, drive and maintain communication material for Plant Solutions •Facilitate trainings sessions and events across Plant Solutions Administration: •Daily support to VP •Drive management supporting activities – arranging meetings including calling for-, notice of – and minutes of meetings •Responsible for planning, driving and maintaining QSE –instructions, procedures and certifications Qualifications: •Organizational, commercial / financial and businessanalytical background •Experience on master level.
