At Vestas Spares & Tools Planning we are constantly optimizing the supply chain in order to have as low inventory as possible and at the same time deliver on time to our customers. It is an ever developing task in a fast paced environment. SCP Operations, Spares & Tools Planning Spares & Tools Planning resides in the Service organization department Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Operations. It is overall responsible for the operational planning of the Vestas service supply chain and as such one of the key players is the global team. We are looking for an energetic, well structured Main Components Planning Specialist with good analytical skills, to join this team. The Main Components planning department is has a central role in the Vestas supply chain, of coordinating and consolidation demand and supply between wind sites and distribution network. Responsibilities: Maintain and develop applicable global framework for main components spare parts forecasting, planning, and operational execution Plan and execute full roll out of developed solutions Guide and assist with development of team specific competencies Finalize and maintain documentation, to ensure standardization, and ensure internal team training Assess the need for cross functional and strategic compliance, and linkage to other department work flows Determine global performance measurements for solution reliability and team compliance Review effectiveness of work flows during implementation and propose changes Identify and propose training requirements to support successor strategies Drive new introduced or in other way complex operational platforms to mature state Support financial reporting or business model / projects as “ambassador” of main components team Qualifications: Master degree within Logistics - SCM, HD - SCM or equivalent Ideally you have hold leading roles in cross functional supply chain planning projects. As a minimum you have implemented operational planning projects successful to a mature state, or overseen a major phase of implementation in such context Wind turbine industry experience is an advantage Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage Excellent verbal and written English skills Competencies: Specialist knowledge of supply chain / or production planning systems and work flows, preferably within a service spare parts perspective Ability to communicate and influence cross functionally Desire to work in an international environment across cultural borders Resilience and persistence Result driven individual who can drive desired outcomes with and through others What we offer: We offer the opportunity to join a multinational company with great prospects in regards to professional and personal development in a position which provides a thorough insight into the Vestas Service Supply Chain.
