A team member able to drive quality-, technical support, and excellence process to the highest level. Vestas Manufacturing/Vestas Assembly/Vestas Nacelles & Hub Factory, Ringkøbing The Vestas Nacelles & Hub is the primary factory for the production on the 3MW platform. The factory delivers turbines globally. The factory is part of the Assembly segment within Vestas Manufacturing. The factory was established in 1999 and today the factory employs approximately 540 employees hereof 35 white collar. The factory operates with a two shift four day production schedule (Monday-Thursday. As Senior Manager of Production Quality, Technical Support & Process Excellence you are the leader of a department with 15 white collars and 17 blue collars (4 in direct report). Responsibilities Your primary areas of responsibilities are: Production Quality: Secure quality processes and tools to ensure products delivered from the factory are flawless Secure quality delivered from suppliers Customer audits and customer relations Traceability and final documentation of products delivered to customers External and internal audits NC handling process Technical Support Production processes in the factory and support to local factories Secure technical front line support to the product line Introduction of new products in the factory Technology transfers Process Excellence In corporation with Logistics and Production to secure optimal and efficient processes Run kaizen events Create and keep standard work updated Qualifications A strong leader with preferably an Engineering background with strong and proven results in production quality. A strong technical understanding is required in this job.
