To further strengthen our Infrastructure department based in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a talented Infrastructure Solution Designer. You will join our team of Infrastructure Solution Designers, who are converting IT needs into well-described solutions ready to implement in our data centres, using a broad knowledge within IT infrastructure. We expect you as candidate to be well organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment. You are also passionate about converting requirements into architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solutions being created. This conversion should be based largely upon your previous design experiences. Experiences you may have gained through reading and staying abreast of the latest techniques. Our core infrastructure is built on well-known brands such as Hewlett Packard, Cisco, EMC, Microsoft and VMware. What are my responsibilities? • Your core responsibilities will be to define and deliver technical infrastructure design solutions for Siemens global Infrastructure to the Wind Power business unit. • You will act as the bridge between enterprise architecture, applications architecture and the global Siemens infrastructure architecture. • You will act as a stakeholder to validate requirements and solution architecture for various levels of integration, including Service Oriented Architecture. • Coordinating with QA team, testing team, and deployment and support teams to ensure projects are successfully deployed into testing and production environments What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have several years of experience with software/hardware architecture in a large complex organization including development, implementation and support experience • Knowledge to TOGAF and ITIL will be an advantage in your coming role • You have solid understanding and experience in the integration of applications to databases and infrastructure • You make infrastructure look simple even though it is complex at heart • You know your way around design documents, requirement specifications and user acceptance documents • You have experience in collaborating with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions align with long term company vision • You are proactive and self-determined, you possess strong decision making skills and you are used to working in a multicultural environment • You are a dedicated team player with the ability to work and navigate in a dynamic and international environment with many interfaces, being an independent performer, with strong mentoring abilities • You are an excellent and persuasive communicator and fluent in both spoken and written English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
