In the position as Group Chief Accountant you will be part of Group Finance and will report directly to our CFO. You will have the overall responsibility for the accountant department at our headquarters in Stilling as well as responsibility for Kamstrup’s accounting and finance functions abroad, which will report directly to you.

Group Chief Accountant with a solid sense of business
In the job as Group Chief Accountant you will be responsible for continuously securing a high level of quality in accounting with correct and timely reporting. You will contribute to preparation of annual reports, budgets, calculations, ad hoc analyses, establishment of new subsidiaries and reports across the organisation and to public authorities. Furthermore, you must make sure to maintain low losses and costs in the accounts receivable and, at the same time, make sure the customers get the necessary competitive credits. Together with the controller function, you will be responsible for developing the accounting and finance function of the future in preparation for supporting the strong growth that is expected – not least abroad.

You will take care of daily management and development of the devoted and competent employees of the function and at the same time optimize and implement processes in Denmark and abroad on an ongoing basis.

You should expect between 20-30 travel days per year.

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious and goal-oriented person with strong analytical abilities. To succeed in the job, it is required that you:

• Have a master’s degree such as cand.merc. or cand.oecon or similar
• Have a minimum of 10 years certified management experience from a similar position in the industry
• Have experience with international and long-distance management
• Have a solid operational and commercial understanding
• Have experience with the Danish Financial Statements Act

As a person, you have great drive and you are comfortable in an outgoing position. You have good communicative abilities and are able to cooperate across an international organisation. You show your effectiveness when you take on the leading position and ask the critical questions challenging our work processes. You have a strong analytical mindset and do not accept half measures. While you are sturdy and persistent, you are also good at listening and showing empathy in the relation to your employees. You have a pronounced interest in management and meet your colleagues with a positive approach and in a good mood.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English at a high level. Danish and German will be an advantage.
