Probably the best Accounting Team is searching for a group controller with a passion for financial reporting, IFRS and business support and a background from audit. In the Global Finance organisation, we attract, develop and retain engaged professionals through challenging assignments in a truly global organisation. We manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations. We drive efficiency through harmonisation and standardisation of core finance processes with clear roles and responsibilities. We drive the business together with our stakeholders and deliver insights based on business analytics to enable joint decisions.

In this role, you will report directly to VP Group Accounting. The primary focus of the role is to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and act as active sparring partner for both markets and the other functions in Group Headquarters.

 

Specifically, your key responsibilities will be:

• Development of Annual Reports, Quarterly Reports and other financial reporting
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS, Danish accounting requirements and stock exchange requirements
• Cross Group financial controlling of the Group's entities and of major/significant items in the consolidated financial accounts at month, quarter and year-end
• Participate in Group projects to ensure correct accounting treatment and reporting, i.e. in relation to M&A, Group internal transfers, restructuring and other strategic Group projects
• Promoting and sharing the understanding of current accounting policies across the Group
• Sparring with markets and other functions in headquarter on accounting related topics
• Development and maintenance of Group Policies and Manuals

 

We are looking for a candidate who has/is:

• 4-6 year experience as an auditor from one of the bigger audit firms
• Enrolled in or finalized a MSc in Business Administration Economics and Auditing or an MSc in Finance and Accounting
• Experience in audit, consolidated financial statements, external financial reporting
• Experience with IFRS accounting principles and preferably also of Danish accounting requirements
• Excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills (proficient in English)
• Able to keep the overview and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously, but also able to prioritize when working with tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and take great responsibility
• A motivated, committed professional with a positive attitude, a good sense of humour and flexible when it comes to working hours
